Sunshine Ace Hardware is proud to announce that director of finance, Helena Dabrowski, was recently elected President of the Uncommon Friends Foundation at the historic Burroughs Home & Gardens, effective June 8, 2017.

Dabrowski, a long serving member of the foundation’s board, previously held positions of treasurer and vice president prior to her election as president. Coming into her new role, Dabrowski brings a solid background in finance and accounting, with previous experience as chief executive officer at INSOUTH Funding, Naples, as well as her current role at Sunshine Ace Hardware and Wynn’s Market.

A graduate of Stetson University in Deland, Florida, Dabrowski earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. As an alum, she was a member of the Leadership Council and served on the School of Business Advisory Board. Dabrowski is currently a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida. In her spare time, Dabrowski, a Naples native, also enjoys traveling, cooking and watching sunsets over the Paradise Coast.
